The client
Eletive is a design intervention in employment management systems, which was conceptualized by the founders by combining technology and psychology to come up with the ultimate solution for improved employee engagement and performance which in turn leads to a more successful and prosperous company.
The web app aims to facilitate their goal by proving to be an analytical tool which helps roll out custom surveys, analyze them and forecast according to current trends.
The challenge
While creating the Eletive website we had to ensure a cohesive collaboration between the humaneness of the subject and the technology. The website needed to be very human-centric and lastly it had to cater to customization to reflect the core vision of letting the employees take initiative and make them feel included.
The solution
We began with reviewing user stories and learning more about Eletive’s ideology. After that we started restructuring the information architecture and optimized an intuitive and accessible user flow. It was also made sure that the look and feel of the website aids in gaining employees' trust so we fused the application with illustrations and other inviting elements.
User Flow Diagram
As always the first step was to build successful user flows, which bolsters further planning and development, and allows us to gain more insights to where an intervention might be needed to streamline the user experience, which held equal importance for the client as the visual designs.
Wireframes
After finalizing the user flow we moved on to creating wireframes to allow visualization of the look of the website. They were followed by comprehensive market research and analyzing gathered insights.
The other objective was to make sure the functionality is clear and easy to follow, and customers experience improved navigation compared to the older platform.
User Interface Design
The goal for creating the user interface was to keep it simple and clean without any added complications and align it to the brand guide for a consistent feel.
Website Visual Design
Finally on to envisioning the final look of the website. We made the visual design in a way that it was very user friendly and fun to look at, while delivering a contemporary appearance. Fusion of a professional and playful look was created to emphasize on Eletive’s vision.
