Sveve is a Norwegian based company that provides SMS and mobile communication. Founded in 2006, the company has amassed thousands of satisfied customers. Since the beginning they have extended their services to local and government organizations, and curated quality experiences by not only providing standard options, but also offering tailor made solutions for communication and marketing.

The challenge

A service that has been functional for so long, needs to be revamped to better suit shifting customer needs and behaviors, hence the problems driven from this were:

• A decline in sales and conversion rates.
• Users experienced frustration while navigating the website.
• The website had become outdated, and failed to communicate to the new audience.

The Solution

Our team’s expertise in UX design helped tackle these problems:

• Restructured the website using UX strategy to ensure a smooth user flow and garner more engagement.
• Incorporated new trends, such as illustrations and eye catching color schemes to refresh the feel of the service.
• Included product screenshots to communicate the functions of the application better and assist visibility in the system.
• Created a design system complete with components, to assist the Sveve developer team to re-launch a sleek and consistent website.

Research

Taking up a project with a different language and culture is always interesting, as the team sets out to learn everything possible to ensure a commendable translation of the service. For Sveve the research was two tiered, first we had to understand SMS ecosystems as they exist in Norway, including behaviors' and regulations around it. The other part was doing a cohesive research into the current trends and how to translate them for the selected audience to communicate Sveve’s brand identity and goals.
