Techne Hire’s goal was to revolutionize the recruitment industry by providing a well rounded and holistic system to best match job seekers and employers by going beyond the old school method of looking at hard skills and instead getting deeper insights into behaviors and soft skills of potential employees to understand what role will be the best for them. Leading to a smarter hiring process and dynamically balanced teams.

The Challenge

The client had a clear idea about their product and had even developed some wireframes but they needed our assistance in:

Doing a complete UI/UX reboot and incorporating best practices to ensure a seamless job seeking journey.
Creating a two tiered application with an interface for recruiters as well as job seekers.
Developing and highlighting their core features to benefit users.
Equipping the website with a cohesive search engine for looking up jobs.

The Solution

We delivered all their requirements by:

Understanding their brand ideology and how to best incorporate it in the design.
Conducting brainstorming sessions to develop their core features.
Make multifaceted customer journey maps to assist in creating seamless user flows
Restructuring the information architecture and flows.
Designing core features after doing research in similar domains and coming up with the most effective ones.

User Flow Diagram

This is the basic user flow that was provided to us by the founders of Techne Hire. It was a bit redundant and time consuming so we incorporated our understanding of user behaviors to enhance this flow to provide a simple and engaging journey for the visitors.

Wireframes

We undertook a collaborative approach with the clients to better understand the technicalities before moving onto the ideation phase. Where the team started brainstorming and sketching wireframes. We went a step ahead by ensuring that we create multiple variations for screens as well as the components.

Designing User Interface

The look and feel of this app had to be sleek and professional and that was translated into the UI design of it as well. We did ample research to enable a seamless and enhanced user experience. The website is extremely user friendly and self explanatory to ensure a smooth job seeking and recruiting experience without any added anxieties.

Dashboard

We took initiative to make the dashboard as effective as possible, by efficiently using space to present all components in a way that gives a clean and decluttered look. This was achieved by creating a simple yet inviting interface that provided access to key information and encouraged users to explore the web app further.
